WHAT
WE OFFER
CLASSES
& LEVELS
Sokol
classes are divided by age, gender and ability.
Within each age level class, all ability levels are taught as
needed.
- TOTS
- Gymnasts
must be 3 or 4 years old and toilet trained. Classtime
consists of a basic introduction to fundamental gymnastics
skills as well as an emphasis on locomotor skills, fun and
games.
- SOKOLADS
AND SOKOLETTES
- Gymnasts
are between the ages of 5 and 11. Fundamental gymnastics
skills are taught and mastered to prepare for advancement to
higher ability levels. Gymnasts are introduced in
beginning levels to all gymnastics equipment and are taught
skills that are required for their competition routines.
Marching and group calisthenics are taught for performance in
the annual exhibition, Sokol Day, and National Slet.

BOYS AND JR.
GIRLS - Gymnasts
are between the ages of 12 and 17. All of the gymnastics
equipment is used as the gymnasts progress to learn more
advanced skills as they move ahead at a faster pace.
Advanced skills are taught through proper gymnastics progression
to ensure safe and correct execution. Marching and
calisthenics also become more advanced in the Juniors
Class. Class meets twice a week.

MEN AND SR.
WOMEN - Gymnasts
are age 18 and older. Senior class has an emphasis on
light aerobic exercise, stretching, marching and
calisthenics. Gymnastics is also taught to those who are
willing and able for all ability levels, novice through
optional.
EQUIPMENT
Sokol
Lodge 306 is equipped with all modern apparatus for both Men’s and
Women’s Gymnastics competition.
For women, we have two high and two low balance beams, uneven
bars, vaulting table, and 60’ spring strip floor.
For men, we have parallel bars, high and low rings, high and
low horizontal bars, pommel horse, mushroom, vaulting table and
60’ spring strip floor. Also
available are many training tools such as octagons, trapezoids,
incline mat, full size and mini trampolines, and spotting belts.
COMPETITION
OPPORTUNITIES
All
classes and levels (except tots) are offered the opportunity to
compete in our District and National “Slet” competitions
each year. For girls
and women, USAG Levels 1-6 compulsory routines are taught, as well
as a Sokol Novice level. For
boys and men, USAG Levels 2-6 Compulsory routines are taught.
Optional levels are also available for those who are able.
Move-ups are made at the discretion of the Head Instructors
and Directors.
OTHER
SPORTS
We
also offer the opportunity to participate on our competitive Volleyball
and 3 on 3 Basketball teams for district competition and
national “slets” when available.
We
have open Volleyball at Lodge 306 every Friday night from 8:30-10:00
p.m. - $3 per person for non-members!!
PRICING
& CLASS SCHEDULE
Each
gymnastics session is approximately 18 weeks long and generally runs
from September to January and February to June.

BINGO
Sokol
holds Bingo every Sunday beginning at 4:00 p.m.. We have
several different computer and paper card packages available ranging
in price from $15 to $60 per package. We play a total of 18
games including a progressive Early Bird and a Split the Pot.
Raffles are sold throughout the evening and kitchen and bar are
available as well. Parents, gymnasts and lodge members
volunteer their time to work on one of our five Bingo crews thru the
